Useful Apps for Student

It's about to be that time of year;Back To School!...but it's going to be quite different this time with the coronavirus still lurking around, We are forced to adapt to new ways of learning and being productive.

If you want to level up your approach to studying, productivity and school in generally, below is a list of my favourite apps that are helping me be a better student, and I'm sure they will help you too.

Organizing My Classes

During lockdown, I have been struggling with keeping track of my classes, assignments and tests date until I stumbled upon:

MyStudyLife

My Study Life is not like other calendar and to-do list apps. It is an all-in-one platform for all my study life designed to help me get organized and excel

The Best part is that My Study Life works offline too, even if there's load shedding, you can still check your timetable, add tasks or anything for that matter.

For Note-Taking

Notion

Notion is my all-time favourite, If there was productivity app wars, Notion would be my fighter.
Notion is an all-in-one space where you can write your notes, wikis, manage projects. Allows working in one space with colleagues or friends ,

It's jam-packed with useful features and free for personal use and students.

For Learning and Revision

For learning and revision I still use notion but another app that has been helpful is:

Anki and/or Quizlet
These apps allow me to create my  own digital flashcards or download decks created by other fantastic people. The thing I love most is their use of a system of active recall and spaced repetitions and as you progress through your studies which are powerful methods of learning and retaining information.

Quzzlet

I personally use them for my computer science concepts for quick quiz tests and memorisation.

Time management

To be honest I waste most time on social media, YouTube Scrolling mindlessly...in my never-ending battle with procrastination  this is that tool I currently use:

Forest
Forest helps me to stay focused on the task at hand through a slick Pomodoro technique. Here's how it works:
